The Russian Twister is a one-of-a-kind slug designed to fragment upon impact, creating 5 or 6 separate wound channels, making it the most effective self-defense slug ever made. 

Designed to be shot in smooth bore cylinder choke barrels. Rifled barrels do not make the slug more accurate-- they actually destabilize it.

Usage and warnings

Keep away from heat-No smoking. Do not subject to shock/friction. Wear protective clothing. In case of fire: Evacuate area. Fight fire with normal precautions from a reasonable distance. Store and dispose of in accordance with local regulations. Do not breathe fumes. Wash hands thoroughly after handling. Do not eat or drink when using this product. (US1,V1)

All ammunition sales are Final. If you receive an order and believe there is a defect, please contact us immediately.

Returns will only be accepted for merchandise found defective upon receipt. Salt Creek Custom Ammunition will provide a replacement of the defective merchandise or a full refund if a replacement is not available. 

Salt Creek Custom Ammunition does not claim any responsibility for items damaged during shipment. For items damaged during shipping, users need to file a claim with the carrier. Please use our contact form located on the contact page if you receive a defective item.

We are currently unable to ship to individuals in the following states. If you live in one of these states and would like to order, please send us a message with your local FFL dealer address and we'll make an order for you.

Restocking Fee

Any customer who orders ammunition in states/areas listed in the section above will have their orders canceled and a 10% restocking fee will be charged. 

Please check your laws and regulations if you live in one of these states. We will only ship to an FFL dealer in these states. Check with your local gun store and see if they are able to receive ammo. If they are able to receive ammunition, contact us using our contact form and will consider taking orders on a case-by-case basis.

Ordering & Shipping was great!

Ordering & shipping was a breeze - very easy & quick. I have yet to go to the range to see how this ammo performs. I trust it will be fine out of my Remington 12ga smooth bore shotgun. The videos that I saw of it's performance is what convinced me to make a purchase. Again, I haven't been to the range, but intend to get there reasonably soon.
